As humans, we have needs. Two of those needs are to (1) grow as individuals and to (2) contribute to something beyond ourselves. This is when we are happiest. It isn’t about the things we have it’s about the things we do and the experiences we are part of.
The Adventurer Club was founded in 2017 by Jason Rawles as a way to deliver...
To deliver an environment where people can grow and to help deliver back to society. Not just himself but to enable others to deliver back too.
When you join The Adventurer Club for free *, you become part of a movement - a movement that brings people together and helps those who need step up. We know that life can be overwhelming so our club is there to enable.
For you and your family
You tell us you don’t have the time. You tell us you don’t feel confident to head out on adventures. You tell us you don’t have the means to spend your hard-earned cash but you still want to be more socially responsible.
With help from Aspire Adventures, The Adventurer Club provides information, discounts, workshops, guided walks and more. We are here to help you to experience the outdoors in an environmentally responsible way and reconnect with that inner adventurer.
We are also not-for-profit and plan to spend over £100,000 by the end of 2020 in socially positive adventure programmes and activities.
How you'll help others
It’s no secret that life is hard. Young adults have minimal access to adventure due to funding cuts and parents are struggling to make ends meet. Social media, for all its goodness in inspiring, is creating incorrect life perceptions and people with special needs are working hard just to stand still.
Adventure is the most magnificent platform to helping build self-esteem, creating some independence, improving life and social skills and giving a sense of well-being.
This is where we will help.
We are helping create content that will enable those with special needs to make the first steps in to adventure. We are helping fund young adults and families to get outside and do stuff together that will forge relationships and build self-worth. We have much, much bigger plans and hope to be a magnet for grants and funding that we enable greater reach and therefore social effectiveness.
We are not for profit - when you join, you are not just growing as an individual but contributing to something bigger than yourself. You are helping society and others. You are doing something amazing!
